1. What is EZeels?
EZeels is a RECURRING Home Services marketplace where businesses providing services in the following categories, list their services and customers can sign up for them.
Categories: Pest and Mosquito Control, Lawn Mowing, Lawn Weed control and fertilization, Carpet cleaning, Swimming pool maintenance, House Cleaning and HVAC maintenance.
2. Does EZeels charge any fees to Service providers?
EZeels does NOT charge any fees to Service providers. Service providers list their services for absolutely free. When a customer signs up for the service, EZeels adds a small amount of fee (usually between 6-10%) to the customer's final amount to run their platform. Service providers don't pay any fees - absolutely.
3. How does the whole process work?
Service providers register and list their services on the EZeels platform. This will include the following:
Bank account information (entered on Stripe.com, 3rd party payment processor) to receive payments.
Services they perform including the size/number and frequency they offer.
Number of homes they can service (service provider’s capacity)
(Optional) Discounts you will provide to customers based on tiers (eg. 1-2 customers - 5%, 3-5 customers - 10%, 6-15 customers - 15%, etc). These discount numbers are just examples. You can offer different discounts for more customers or not offer any discounts at all.
Locations where they provide the services
Once this is completed, Service Providers will receive emails when people sign up for their services. It’ll have details on the plan selected which could include the size of the yard, home size, pool size, number of rooms and frequency of the service. Service providers can then coordinate with the customer on the date/time to complete the service. They simply call the customer to book. When the service is complete, the Service Provider goes to their dashboard and marks it as complete.. The customer then has 48 hours to confirm the service completion. If the customer does not take any action, the service is automatically marked complete, and the money is taken out of the customer's account. If the customer has issues, we will get in touch with them to understand the problem and work with them and the service provider to remediate the issue.
4. Does EZeels coordinate the service schedules with the home owners and service providers?
No, EZeels does not coordinate the service schedules with home owners/customers or service providers. When a customer signs up for the service, an email will automatically be sent to the service provider. It’ll have details on the plan selected including the size of yard, house or pool/number of rooms and frequency of the service. Service providers can then coordinate with the customer on the date/time to complete the service.
5. Do Service Providers have to provide discounts?
No, Service providers don’t have to provide discounts for group customers and it’s COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. However, Service providers are more likely to have multiple customers sign up together when there is a group discount offered.
6. How do Service Providers get customers in bulk?
We encourage Service Providers to offer their clients the chance to join our Group discount program, which will help generate more leads! For example, when there's more than one house on the referral link, there's a 5% discount; when there are 3 to 5 houses, there's a 10% discount; and when there are 6 to 20 houses, there's a 15% discount. Customers see their discounts grow, while service providers track their expanding client lists! Service Providers can choose discounts and how many houses they want to take on. This example is a standard setup.
6. What if a customer has an incorrect home, pool or yard size selected?
If a customer has selected an incorrect size of home, pool or yard, there are 2 options:
Customer cancels the service on their dashboard and signs up again for the service with correct size.
Service provider cancels the service on their dashboard and asks the customer to sign up with the correct size of home, pool or yard.
9. What do Service Providers need to submit to get started?
EZeels requires the following documents from the Service Provider for verification purposes: a copy of the driver's license as proof of identification, a W-9 form to indicate that this is not considered revenue for EZeels, and proof of insurance, since it is publicly advertised that the companies that register with us have insurance coverage.
10. How do Service Providers get paid?
Service Providers enter their bank account information during registration on Stripe.com, a 3rd party payment processor. EZeels does not handle sensitive banking information. Customers must enter their credit card information for signing-up for a service. Once the service is marked complete, the money is sent out to the account on file of the service provider, assuming no issue was raised by the customer. If the customer raises an issue, we work with them and the service provider to resolve it and work on sending the money to the service provider promptly.
11. Some services are only offered in certain months (eg. Lawn mowing from March to October). What happens after that?
Services will be paused by EZeels and will resume the following year unless canceled on the dashboard.
