Does EZeels charge ANY fees to Service providers?
EZeels does NOT charge any fees to service providers. Service providers list their services for absolutely free. EZeels adds a small booking fee upon checkout to the customer.
What is the Registration Process?
Service providers register and list their services on the EZeels platform. This registration includes the following information:
1. Forms to Submit: Providers must submit a Driver's License, a copy of insurance, and a W9.
2. Bank Account Information: Providers need to enter their bank account details on Stripe.com, a third-party payment processor, to receive payments.
3. Services Offered: Providers should specify the services they perform, including the size or number of services offered and their frequency.
4. Service Capacity: Providers must indicate the number of homes they can service.
5. Optional Discounts: Providers have the option to offer discounts to customers based on tiers. These discount percentages are simply examples, and providers can choose to offer different discounts or no discounts at all.
Example
6. Service Locations: Providers should list the locations where they offer their services.
Once Registration is Complete
Service providers will receive emails when individuals sign up for their services. These emails will include details about the selected plan, such as the yard size, home size, pool size, number of rooms, and service frequency. Service providers can then call the customer to schedule the date and time for the service.
Once Service is Complete
Once completed, Service Providers will receive emails when people sign up for their services. It’ll have details on the plan selected, which could include the size of the yard, home size, pool size, number of rooms and frequency of the service. Service providers can then coordinate with the customer on the date/time to complete the service. They simply call the customer to book. When the service is complete, the Service Provider goes to their dashboard and marks it as complete. The customer then has 48 hours to confirm the service completion. If the customer does not take any action, the service is automatically marked complete, and the amount is transferred to the service provider. If the customer has issues, we will get in touch with them to understand the problem and work with them and the service provider to remediate the issue.
Do Service Providers Have to Provide Discounts?
No, service providers are not obligated to offer discounts for group customers; it is entirely optional. However, offering a group discount can encourage multiple customers to sign up together.
How Does EZeels Bring Service Providers' Customers in Bulk?
We encourage Service Providers to offer their clients the opportunity to join our Group Discount Program, which will help generate more appointments. For example, when there's more than one house on the referral link, there's a 5% discount; when there are 3 to 5 houses, there's a 10% discount; and when there are 6 to 20 houses, there's a 15% discount. Customers see their discounts grow, while service providers track their expanding client lists!
Conditions for applying the 5% / 10% / 15% discounts and a sample calculation. Eg. Quarterly HVAC maintenance service costs $100. If 1 customer signs up for this, they may not get any discount. However, once they sign up and forward the referral email to 3 other people who also sign up, the group size becomes 4. If the vendor has put 5% discount for a group of 2 to 10, they all get 5% discount. So the cost to the customer will be $95 and EZeels will send the contractor $95/customer.
What happens if the group "breaks" (e.g., one client cancels) — how is pricing adjusted? Group size dynamically adjusts the discount.
eg. Group size 1-5: 5% discount
Group size 6-10: 10% discount
Etc.
Is there a minimum or maximum lifetime for the referral link? Customers, after signing up for the service, enter emails of their neighbors/friends to sign up for the service. As long as the group stays, the group members continue to receive discounts.
What if a Customer Selects an Incorrect Home, Pool, or Yard Size?
If a customer has selected an incorrect size of home, pool, or yard, there are 2 options:
How do Service Providers get paid?
Service providers enter their bank account information during registration on Stripe.com, a third-party payment processor. EZeels does not handle any sensitive banking information. Customers must provide their credit card information when signing up for a service. Once the service is marked as complete, the payment is sent to the service provider's account on file, provided that no issues have been raised by the customer. Payout timelines via Stripe and any holds or reserves will occur 48 hours after the contractor marks the service as complete, unless the customer raises any issues with the service.
Some Services are Only Offered in Certain Months (eg. Lawn mowing from March to October). What Happens After That?
Services will be paused by EZeels and will resume the following year unless canceled on the dashboard.
How are refunds/chargebacks handled, and who bears the risk/costs? If the customer rejects the completed service, we (EZeels) step in to resolve the issue. Customer sends their payment to EZeels and EZeels sends to the contractor. So, EZeels would bear the risk. However, please note that the contractor/vendor will be expected to put in their best effort to complete the service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Service Areas and Radius: Can we restrict ZIP codes and service windows? Unfortunately, currently, we have cities as an option and not zip codes to make operations easier for EZeels.
Minimum job amount/service threshold for a lead to be considered valid. Service providers enter the services in EZeels platform that they offer. EZeels does not recommend any min job amount/service. However, it is a good practice to be competitive based on market rates.
What happens after the service is complete? After vendor marks the service complete, customer gets a completion email. They have 48 hours to reject the service, approve it or not take any action (which will mark the service complete automatically).
What about cancellations, rescheduling, and no-show policies for repeat visits? Funds are only released to the vendor once they mark the service as complete. Therefore, it is in the vendor's best interest to complete the service as soon as possible to avoid any cancellations or no-shows.
Is there a spam/duplicate filtering and policy on "bad" leads? There are no "leads". All the service requests are by paid customers.
Who owns the client data? EZeels owns the client data and it is provided to the vendors for the purpose of service completion only.
Can we use our own scripts/message templates and branding? Yes, you can use your own branding/logo while creating your service information on EZeels. Every vendor uses their branding and service description.
